Korlat at the Battle of Coral

This is a cropped version of an idea I had for a painting of Korlat during the battle of Coral. I had created a sketch of her standing in the foreground with the battle raging behind her in the city, complete with Moon's Spawn and fiery wrath ...

That proved a bit too ambitious, so I scaled everything down, and in fact cropped the portrait of her quite a bit. This is essentially only my second or third digital painting, so I'm still getting used to the process.
